When I started Evoke Brands in 2009, I had no clue where the road would take me, but what a ride it has been. I’ve seen businesses transform the way they interact with their consumers, helped young professionals find a career path and witnessed a true change in our client’s business cultures…and I’m just getting started.

As an entrepreneur one needs to be innovative, with a strong vision of where they want to be in life, which all stems from a deep-rooted passion. My passion began as a little girl watching my parents start numerous businesses – all with that true spark of entrepreneurism.

I took that passion, added it to years of traditional agency experience and that is the genesis of Evoke Brands. I wanted to provide innovative digital solutions for beauty brands and help them connect with their consumers on a personal level across a variety of social platforms. It’s not just a tweet or a selfie, we’re solving business problems and creating a new consumer culture.

When I was announced as a Semi-Finalist for the 2014 Emerging Entrepreneur of the Year by Entrepreneur Magazine, I couldn’t help but feel like I needed someone to ‘pinch me.’ The contest recognizes leaders who have an entrepreneurial spirit, a strategic direction, global or community impact as well as personal integrity. It is truly an honor to be placed in this category among so many innovators and I can’t wait to see what the future holds.
